What is Diesel Flow Sensor?

Diesel Flow Sensor is a precision device used to measure the consumption of fuel in different types of machines and automobiles. These devices are widely used to measure the fuel consumption in vehicles. Diesel Fuel Flow Meter is one kind of positive displacement meter used to measure the instantaneous flow or liquid flow of the pipe tube.
Working Principle
It is an accumulated meter which requires fuel to displace the components mechanically in the meter for measuring the flow rate. It consists of two elliptical gears meshed together and fluid forces this gears to rotate. Each rotation is correspondent to a fixed volume of liquid and counted precisely. A total of this rotation determines the flow rate of the fluid and rate is directly proportional to the flow of the fluid. This device characterized by high speed, accuracy, and preciseness. It measures even small changes in the viscosity of corrosive liquid and diesel.
