It comprises of the food grade plastic valve body, a water rotor, and a hall-effect sensor. When water passes through the rotor, it spins and its speed changes according to the rate of flow. Water flow sensor outputs the corresponding pulse signals. Such devices are largely used in water dispensers and coffee machines to detect the water flow.
